Plan it.
It usually starts with a simple email or phone call.
I’m happy to talk things through before starting a project, to make sure we find the best possible way to get your message out there. We can then talk through the finer points of getting the right people together at the right time, in the right place.
Film it.
We’ll have decided in advance how much filming will be required, it’s then a matter of maximising the time and getting all the relevant footage I need. It might be interview footage or b-roll (the cutaway shots) - this is where good planning really pays off.
Edit it.
The time consuming bit. As a rule of thumb, editing a project generally takes twice as long as the filming. This is where the creative process really comes to life, using the latest post-production tools to make the most of the available footage.

“Logistics are often key. Sometimes the hardest thing is getting all the people in the right place at the right time”.
Relax.
Most of the videos I work on feature people who rarely, if ever appear in front of the camera. I don’t underestimate how stressful some people find this process and I pride myself on my ability to help people relax and get the best out of them.
Don’t worry. It will be fine.
